When it went public about the 13th Zodiac, I knew I had to comment on this. It amazes and excites me when things are revealed to the public that change and evolve our way of thinking. I have known about the 13th Zodiac “Ophiuchus” for sometime, ever since I read about him in “The Complete Book of Astrology”, by Catlin Johnstone, and I am glad that it is now public knowledge. My main reason for responding to this is to answer Julie’s question, as to why do we need a 13th Zodiac in the 1st place. It is common knowledge within the “Metaphysical” community that there are 13 moon cycles to our 1 year, and in my mind it only makes sense that there should be a 13th Zodiac to correspond to the 13 moons of the year, therefore we have a more complete picture to the universal question as to why we are all here. In closing I would like to leave you with a couple of things to ponder. We live in a world that consist of 365.25 days in a year, however if you do the math, a different picture emerges. The cycle of the moon is 28 days, there are 13 moons per year, 28 times 13 is 364. There are 52 weeks in a year and 7 days per week, 52 times 7 is 364. Where and why do we have an extra 1.25 day in our year? My point to all of this is, the universe knows what time it is, and is in constant flux and evolution, the ancient Egyptians, Aztecs, Maya and any number of ancient peoples knew of this, from those that built Stonehenge to the legends and myths of Avalon, Merlin and Atlantis, so welcome the 13th Zodiac with open arms and realize that this indeed could; if we let it, be just another step in our: what I like to call “SEP” or Spiritual Evolutionary Process.
