I have to say I enjoyed most of NBC’s The Voice. Then I saw [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blake Shelton[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”similar_artist_radio”]Adam Levine[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Christina Aguilera[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Cee Lo Green[/lastfm] pass up a couple of talented singers for ones that just weren’t as good. (Of course this is only my opinion.)
Did you see the show? Do you know what I’m talking about? Check it out!
Ok, so I’m watching The Voice thinking it’s a great show, the talent seems to be pretty decent and the judges are showing some good, well, judgement. Then this girl appeared and no one chose to keep her! What the? Really? She was awesome. Watch the video of Sonia Rao.
Am I right? She kicked serious booty! Just to prove what I’m talking about. This duo came up next. Before I say anything, watch and listen to Elenowen.
Yikes! Ok, I can see Blake being curious enough to turn around to see what these two look like, because it was the first time a duo had been thrown at the judges. But I just don’t think Elenowen had the vocal talent Sonia Rao did. Am I wrong?
Perhaps I misunderstood the whole premise of the show? It’s to find the best talent and coach them in order to win, right? Maybe they want a challenge? Like I said, this was just my opinion. Did you watch, and what do you think?
This was just one example of good talent being passed up. I’ll probably continue to watch the show, and be entertained by Blake Shelton and Adam Levine giving it back and forth to each other.
