Life must be pretty great for Beyonce these days; her new album 4 is currently celebrating another week at the top of the Billboard Charts (YOU GET ‘EM, B!). So to celebrate, as anyone would do in this situation, my girl decided to casually spend $14,000 in Londontown. No worries, that’s just chump change for Beyonce.
Last Monday, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyonce[/lastfm] went shopping on Oxford Street at the famous Selfridges and TopShop department stores. At TopShop, she spent well over £5000 (about $8000) and this was done in less than an hour. She then moved onto Selfridges and dropped another £4000 (about $6000) in just minutes.
She was accompanied by her mom, Tina Knowles, who just so happens to have been Beyonce’s stylist since 1997, when she burst onto the scene with “No, No, No.” This prompted my obsession/love affair/whatever you wanna call it.
The best part about all of this? She did not try on a single article of clothing. My girl is one bad b*&%h. GO ‘HEAD!
Beyonce is no stranger to spending a lot of money. This year, for younger sister Solange‘s 25th birthday, she bought her 25 pairs of designer shoes, one for every year of her life. Let’s not also forget the $2 million she dropped on a Bugatti Veyron for hubby, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jay-Z[/lastfm], on his 41st birthday.
Basically, Beyonce’s got racks on racks and isn’t afraid to spend ’em. After all, Beyonce did say “If you got it, flaunt it…”
