Who doesn’t love taking the kids to pumpkin patches for pictures in the Fall? The Dallas Arboretum will have all those pumpkin patches beat with the 40,000 pumpkins they will have on hand for Autumn at the Arboretum.
All this cooler weather has all of us ready for Fall, and Fall has now fallen upon the Dallas Arboretum. They have entire displays of fairytales and stories that involve pumpkins on display in the Storybook Pumpkin Village. There are 4 walk-through houses made of pumpkins that each represent a story that featured pumpkins.

There is also Tom Thumb’s Pumpkin Patch where you and your kids can pick out and purchase the perfect pumpkin to take home and carve into a jack’o’lantern. In the Pecan Grove, there is a Hay Bale Maze that is fun for the whole family. See if you can find all the pumpkins in the Great Pumpkin Hunt!
