As children start back to school this week, let’s all remember to put down the cellphone when driving through active school zones. Active school zones have now become no phone zones for drivers.
In most cities, not only can you get fined for breaking the 20 mph speed limit in a school zone, but there are also stiff fines and penalties for being caught using your cellphone as well. Fines in Texas can run from $200 up to $500.
Let’s help keep our kids and school zones safe. Put down the phones while driving through school zones!
