It only begs the question, Why not here?

Brand Eating is reporting that with pumpkin-flavored items gaining popularity this time of year, Burger King has decided to get involved.

The fast food chain will be offering the BK Pumpkin burger for a limited time starting October 26th in Japan.

The Burger will feature two slices of Kabocha, commonly known as Japanese pumpkin, bacon, lettuce, a beef patty, and nut sauce (made with sesame seeds, peanuts, almonds, cashews, and hazelnuts. The burger will cost about $3.90.

For about a dollar more you can add the “pumpkin bomb” option which would include 10 slices of pumpkin.

Could we see the pumpkin burger make its way to the U.S.?
