God wasn’t kidding when He gave the commandment, “Thou shalt not steal.” If there is any question about that, California pastor Steve Kihlthau can explain it to you the easy way or the hard way.
One man found out the hard way when he decided to repeatedly rob Stockton Baptist Church where Kihlthau is pastor. After 4 previous break-ins in the past week, Kihlthau spent the evening of Easter Sunday laying in wait for the thief. Just after 3AM, the alarm sounded and that’s when Pastor Kihlthau went into action.
“All of a sudden, I heard a glass door start to open and I see a guy run out, carrying a satchel, a bag and I said a few choice words to say, ‘Stop where you are,’” Kihlthau told Fox News.
The pastor says he wrestled the burglar for 5 minutes before authorities arrived to apprehend the 52-year-old man responsible for the break-ins.
