Fans of the Real Housewives of New Jersey love Caroline Manzo. Unlike most of the reality TV housewives, she brings sensibility and a genuineness to the reality drama. She’s got a new book out called Let Me Tell You Something in which she shares her secrets about being a Housewife, a tough-love mom, and businesswoman.
Manzo makes it a point to stay out of the drama stirred up on the reality show, but sometimes it’s unavoidable. She resonates with fans with her tight-knit family and healthy marriage. She says the secret to her long and happy marriage is keeping things fresh and appreciating every moment she gets to spend with her husband, as they are often busy with separate schedules and engagements.
She also shares some advice for young moms just starting out with young ones. She says, be involved in each other’s lives. She also encourages to never compare to the other siblings; don’t ask “why can’t you be more like your brother/sister?” Work on your children’s strengths and weaknesses. Take the whole family support each other’s activities. Manzo says that you can’t press rewind and that the decision to become a parent comes with sacrifices.
