The world’s most popular museum, the Louvre in Paris, France, shut it’s doors Wednesday after workers walked out in protest.  The 100 workers that left cited a rise in aggressive pickpockets in the museum as the reason for leaving their jobs and forcing the museum to close.

USA Today is reporting that the museum made a statement that pickpocketing is an increasing problem at the Louvre.

Some people who were planning to go to the museum and were turned away on Wednesday.
