Justin Bieber has had another controversial run-in with authority. This time for marijuana found on the singer’s tour bus.
According to both BBC News and Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, Stockholm police raided Bieber’s bus after an officer detected the smell of weed coming from inside the vehicle. Once inside, police discovered ”a small amount of drugs and a stun gun,” says Stockholm police department press officer Lars Bystrom.
The bus was parked outside Stockholm’s Globen Arena, where Bieber was performing as part of the European leg of his current world tour.
However, it doesn’t appear Bieber’s tour will be going up in smoke. Bystrom said multiple people were on the bus at the time of the search and the department does not have a specific suspect so no one will be charged in the matter. Following the raid, Bieber and his entourage continued to Helsinki for his April 26 show.
But this isn’t the singer’s first tango with controversy during his most recent tour. Last month, Bieber caused a stir when he collapsed during a London show at O2 Arena, then he was in the news a few days later for confronting photographers outside his London hotel. Bieber was also investigated on battery charges from a neighbor for alleged assault nearly a month ago in Los Angeles.
Not to mention all the drama in Germany over his unlicensed pet monkey, OG Mally, who will be staying in the European country after Bieber announced he will be unable to take the pet back to the United States.
