Good Guy of the Year award should go to Zach Galifianakis. He took a woman that he rescued from homelessness as his date to the premiere of “The Hangover: Part 3”.
According to Huffington Post, Galifianakis met Elizabeth “Mimi” Haist when he first moved to Los Angeles in the 90s. She was working in his local laundromat for tips. He befriended the woman, but it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that he learned that the 87-year-old woman was homeless.
He found her an apartment and began paying the bills. He even began taking her to his movie premieres, including the recent premiere of “The Hangover: Part 3.”
