There is nothing that will creep you out more than a spider dropping down in your face while you are driving. While the freak out is inevitable, being the behind the wheel of a car during said freak out is dangerous. That’s exactly what an Indiana woman learned after she hit two people in a parking lot during a spider-in-the-car freak out.

WLKY reports that Sandra Rivera of Indianapolis was driving her minivan in the parking lot at Mounds Beach State Park on Saturday afternoon when the sudden appearance of a spider startled her. In the midst of her confusion, she struck and injured two people walking through the parking lot.

Manuel Tapia, 28, and Norma Gonzales, 31, both from Indianapolis sustained injuries to their legs and were taken to an area hospital. Their conditions have not been released, and the incident is still under investigation.
