We’ve all written letters to celebrities and high-profile figures that we admired in our childhood. Sometimes we’d never receive a response, but when we did, it was the best thing in the world. A 7-year-old boy in England wrote a letter to NASA and actually got a response, according the Metro UK.

Dexter Walters loves space and dreams of going to Mars one day. He wrote a letter to NASA asking what he should do in order to become an astronaut and some day visit the Red Planet. To his great joy and surprise, NASA wrote him back!

Dexter writes:

Dear Nasa,
My name is Dexter. I read that you are sending 2 people to Mars and I would like to come but I’m 7. So I can’t. I would like to come in the future. What do I need to do to become an astronaut?
Thank you,

NASA not only responded but also sent Dexter some posters and stickers. NASA’s response included links to their school programs and space camps. They also encouraged Dexter to keep up his grades and “keep reaching for the stars.”
