The Cowboys scored a win yesterday against the Philadelphia Eagles with a score of 17-3. Steve Kemble has all the details in his Ride’em Cowboy Report.

Yesterday’s victory over the Eagles brings the Cowboys to 4-3 for the season, and we take the top spot in the NFC East. What a game! Can anyone remember the last time there were 18 punts in one game?

The win was the Cowboys’ best defensive showing in the Jason Garrett era. It’s the first time that Demarcus Ware has ever missed a game, and we still managed to dominate.

Despite the win, it was one of Tony Romo’s lowest rated games of season. He blames the 13 mph winds for giving him trouble throwing the ball. He threw another interception in the 3rd quarter, but Garrett admitted post-game that the receiver ran the wrong play. Even so, the Cowboys recovered to take the ball down field 72-yards in 10 plays for a touchdown.

Dez Bryants seems to be Romo’s go-to guy as much as Jason Whitten, especially in hostile environments. Bryant’s consistency is paying off, making him the most productive offensive player on the road this season. Yesterday, he led Dallas with 8 touches for 110 yards, and this season he’s had 23 touches for 332 yards and 3 touchdowns on the road.

Next week, the Cowboys are on the road again in Detroit against the Lions.
