Most of us agree that men are the hardest people to shop for. They already have everything they need, and anything hobby-related is usually so specific that we have to ask them for details, thereby ruining the surprise. That’s why I decided to make it easy on you this year.

Just scroll down and find your guy’s personality, read, rinse, repeat. The prices range from frugal to extravagant so feel free to give as many goodies as you’d like.

I included links in case you want to learn more about each item. Consider it my gift to you. Happy shopping!

iFLY Indoor Skydiving ($59.95 +up)- The “Dallas” (read: Frisco) facility opened a few weeks ago making it DFW’s first public indoor wind tunnel. You get the experience of skydiving without having to actually jump out of a perfectly good airplane. No experience necessary, and you get two sessions for under $60. A perfect present for the adventurers…just don’t eat beforehand.

Mark & Graham Dopp Kit ($79 +up)- If you, like me, are tired of seeing your husband’s toothpaste-crusted shaving kit every morning, give him an upgrade. These soft leather bags come in all colors, and they can be monogrammed for a more personalized look. Très Chic.

Dallas Cowboys Track Jacket ($99.99)- Tickets to sporting events are so pricey, plus it’s hard to pinpoint someone else’s future availability and nail down a date. So instead of sending him to a game, get him something he can use more than once. This lightweight jacket is perfect for watching the game at a local pub or running errands on a Saturday morning. And who doesn’t love America’s Team?

Taster’s Club Whiskey-of-the-Month Membership ($83 +up)- Does your man love scotch? Scotchy scotch scotch? If so, he’ll enjoy trying new types every 30 days. (‘Tis the season to sip some maple bourbon.) A full-sized bottle lands on the doorstep each month with product info, tasting notes and recipes. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

For the HIPSTER…

Ryan Berkley Coasters ($19)- I am obsessed with this Portland-based artist’s corporate animal collection. T-shirts? Check. Prints? Check. Tote bags? Check. And they all feature random animals wearing business suits. His prices are affordable; you get six coasters and a tin carrying case for under $20. Be sure to throw in some magnets for yourself when you order!

iTunes Playlist (Price varies)- Remember how cool it was when your boyfriend would make you a mixtape? Well, the 2013 version of a cassette is a customized playlist for his MP3 player. Download his favorite bands, “your” couple song, and some other mood-making music and compile it into a cleverly-named bundle on his iPod. It doesn’t have to be all sentimental, mushy tunes either. If you guys sing aloud and dance in unison to What Does the Fox Say, put it on there! The idea is to make it special and elicit some form of emotion when he hears it. The best part is, you can spend as little or as much as you want, depending on how many songs you add.

For the GYM RAT…

Fitbit Flex ($99.95)- A must-have for runners and cardio champs alike. Fitbit is a simple bracelet that measures your distance traveled, floors climbed and calories burned. It even gauges your sleep patterns (hours spent dreaming vs. how many times you toss/turn). Plug it into the computer or sync it wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet to record your results. You can set goals, log meals and track your progress. He’ll never have to fight with those bothersome treadmill buttons again!

Rob Delaney Book ($15)- This narrative isn’t for the easily-offended. Fortunately most guys still have the same sense of humor they learned in junior high so it should be okay. Mother. Wife. Sister. Human. Warrior. Falcon. Yardstick. Turban. Cabbage. might be one of the longest book titles in the history of book titles. So much so in fact, I’m not even sure Delaney himself could recite the full name if we asked him. If memoirs had ratings, this would be an “R”. But even bookworms love a little potty humor, right?

RAP Photo Company Boudoir Shoot ($50 +up)- Wanna really heat things up when the weather’s cold? Head to RAP Photo Company and take some pictures “for his eyes only”. The longtime couple who runs it, Roman Pena and Jamie Ford, are calming, creative, and completely professional. I have shot with them four times, and I’m always amazed by their results! They have photographed celebs, athletes, weddings, animals and just about anything else you can imagine. Visit their studio in Fort Worth, or they can come to you. Wine optional (and highly encouraged.) If you don’t have the gumption to do a session yourself, might I suggest a 2014 Pinups for Pitbulls calendar instead? Proceeds benefit pups and education against breed discrimination. It gives new meaning to stuffing your stocking. Hubba hubba.

For the GAMER…

Sony PlayStation 4 ($399 + up)- The newest gaming system from Sony is in high demand this holiday season and for good reason. It’s got the best graphics and quickest speed of the entire PS dynasty. You can record and stream your experience to share with fellow video game enthusiasts. Plus, it’s compatible with BluRay, Netflix and Hulu so we girls can benefit from the PS4 too. That is, if we can peel our partners away from it long enough to sneak in a few minutes. “Didn’t you say you were going to clean out the garage today, Honey?” (Project Runway, here we come!)

AvantGardeDesign Cufflinks ($45)- These handcrafted bull and bear cufflinks are perfect for businessmen who want to add some flavor to their stiffly-starched shirts. The silver details add a stylish touch while maintaining a masculine tone. They come in a tasteful leather box so the presentation is enticing. They’re a nice conversation piece too for those boring lunch meetings. Now, if only we could find a way to liven up those conference calls. Scotch, anyone?
