I Got Busted Cheating On My Diet This Weekend, What Was My Cheat Food?

I am on the Advocare 24 Day Challenge with my Dallas Framily (friends who are like family) and we have very strict dietary requirements, no fried foods, no alcohol, no coffee, and only lean meats, whole wheats, and complex carbs. It’s strict, but the results have been obvious to me. I am losing weight, I am noticing that I am losing inches, I have more energy, and I feel like a million bucks!

After a cardio-intensive softball practice on Sunday, I headed to Hunky’s Hamburgers on Cedar Springs with my teammates for some lunch. I ordered the Chicken Cheeseburger on wheat…got unsweetened iced tea, and decided to cheat just a lil’ bit and get some tater tots. Who doesn’t love tater tots? I had just burned upwards of 1,200 calories playing softball, I deserved those tots!

Well, as fate would have it, right as I sat down to eat my fatty side dish, my friend (and Advocare advisor) Todd walks in with his husband Miguel and catches me RED HANDED! My framily (see definition above…I will make this a thing) uses the app GroupMe to keep each other motivated…this is what Todd posted to the entire group.

Did I cheat? Yes. Did I deserve the humiliation? Absolutely. I would have done it to them too! Now my secret is out, tater tots were my diet cheat food. What is your go to diet cheat food?
