Hot Pockets Recalled For Bad Meat

A favorite snack food is being pulled from store shelves. Hot Pockets have issued a recall on some of its products.

Hot Pocket’s parent company, Rancho Feeding Corporation, is pulling the Philly Steak & Cheese and Croissant Crust Philly Steak & Cheese from shelves due to concern that the meat in the products did not meet inspection standards, according to The meat was suspected to the from “diseased and unsound animals.”

A USDA press release reported that some of the products being recalled had been shipped to distribution centers here in Texas as well as California, Washington, Oregon, Florida, and Illinois.
