DBU Student Goes Viral With “Let It Go” Parody With Disney And Pixar Voices

Brian Hull is a 22-year-old vocal performance major at Dallas Baptist University. He’s not only a talented singer, he’s also a master of voices. He made use of both his talents in a parody of Frozen’s “Let It Go” by singing as characters from Disney and Pixar movies. The result: Viral.

Hull got the idea after hearing about a contest. He told the Examiner, “I saw there was a contest going on through Disney where I could record myself singing, “Let it Go,” said Hull, and if I won, I would win a $100 gift card to the Disney Store. So, I just got this idea in my head: ‘What if I did the whole thing as Disney and Pixar characters?'”

He and a friend filmed and recorded the viral video on campus in DBU’s recording facilities and posted it to Youtube. It has since garnered 2.2 million views.
