A New Jersey teenager just upped the ante on epic shenanigans. Inspired by his view of 1 World Trade Center, he decided to conquer the Freedom Tower.
New York Post reports that 16-year-old Justin Casquejo snuck out of his parents’ house in the dead of night, made his way to Manhattan, and then proceeded to sneak through 4 levels of security to get to the top of the Freedom Tower.
He found a hole in the Ground Zero fence and crawled through at about 4AM. He then bummed a ride from an elevator operator who failed to check for ID or clearance. At the top floor, Casquejo walked right past a sleeping security guard and spent two hours on top of the world. He was busted by a construction worker who caught the kid on his way back down.
