Prom is one of the highlights of a high school student’s senior year. It’s the last hurrah with friends; the last dance. Lots of preparation, time, and money is spent to make sure it’s a night to remember with gowns, tuxes, limos, dinners, hotel rooms, and more. Most schools have their proms on Saturday, but one unidentified school’s Friday night prom is causing a bit of a stir.
NEW ORLEANS - MAY 12: Cabrini High School junior Danielle DiMaggio (5th L) and boyfriend Ben Navo (3rd L) pose for a photo at the Cabrini High School prom May 12, 2006 in New Orleans, Louisiana. DiMaggio's house was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina and she currently lives in a trailer with her father while her mother and brother are still displaced in Lafayette, Louisiana. DiMaggio and every girl at Cabrini High School are wearing dresses donated by 18-year-old Marissa West from Beltville, Maryland to their prom.
