After months of anticipation of what Bruce Jenner’s new life would be like after his transition, we finally have answers. The former Olympian is featured on the latest cover of Vanity Fair debuting her new look.
“Call Me Caitlyn” is a fitting headline for Jenner as she embraces her fresh persona. She says, “This shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It’s not about the fanfare, it’s not about people cheering in the stadium…this is about your life.” She also shoots down the accusations that it’s all a publicity stunt.” ‘Oh, she’s doing a stupid reality show. She’s doing it for the money. She’s doing this, she’s doing that.’ I’m not doing it for money. I’m doing it to help my soul and help other people. You don’t go out and change your gender for a television show. O.K., it ain’t happening. I don’t care who you are.”
The full issue hits newsstands June 9th. Until then, check out the gorgeous pictures and statement from Caitlyn’s Twitter account!
Caitlyn’s family is also showing support.
