There is a five-year old in Boston who is a stickler for the laws and regulations of the open road. Micheal Richardson and his son, Robbie, were driving along the road when Robbie questioned his father about going through a red light. Michael told his young son “No Robbie, you can go through that one as long as you stop and there’s nobody coming you can go.”
Well Robbie wasn’t satisfied, and when the two pull into a local car wash, he picked up the phone and dialed the police. Now, dialing 911 is a very serious affair, and should never be considered for a prank, as there are people who could actually need serious police and medical attention. But this is pretty darn cute, right?
You can hear portions of the phone call in the video below:
The 911 operator handled the severity of the crime with a natural poise only seen in such a high-stress position. The police then asked to speak to Michael, who apologized; both for his actions and for those of his son.
The 5-year-old says he won’t call the police on his father if he runs a red light again, but will “call the eye doctor so he can fix his eyes.”
